KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • The successful candidate will be CIPD Qualified / HETAC level 8 Degree in HR or Third Level qualification in HRM.
  • 2 years minimum experience at generalist level essential
  • End to end recruitment experience.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Hands-on person not afraid to get involved and learn beyond the roles and responsibilities.
  • Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to engage with stakeholders across the business.

Our Client a leading Financial Services Company based in Galway, established in Ireland for over 40 years are looking to attract a HR Generalist. Highly regarded in their Sector, and the partner of choice for many of Ireland’s leading financial institutions and commercial organisations, this permanent opportunity is being offered on a part time basis and will report to the Senior HR Manager. This is an attractive role offering the successful candidate the chance to gain rounded HR experience with exposure to all aspects of HR.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the recruitment and onboarding process cycle.
  • Continuously strive to improve efficiency and effectiveness of existing procedures.
  • Maintenance and updating of HR system (Breathe)
  • Support all employee-related queries.
  • Recommend and implement new HR policies, procedures and initiatives with an employee centered mind-set, that succeed due to high leadership engagement whilst ensuring they are in line with changing legislation and HR best practice.
  • Responsible for all HR administration throughout the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding including preparation of contracts, statements of employments, social welfare form completion, exit interviews and leaver documentation.
  • Supporting the HR Manager on key strategic projects.
  • Conduct and coordinate learning & development programs.
  • Support in embedding the performance management framework in each business center, coaching, and providing advice to managers in line with performance calibrations, performance reviews and performance improvement plans.
  • Support in the embedding of an effective, multi-disciplinary Induction and Onboarding program.
  • Support in the embedding of the Salary framework in your business area, ensuring company -wide alignment with Title, Salary, and Bonus.
  • Support the maintenance of the HRM dashboard, providing accurate reporting and trend analysis to help understand and effectively manage turnover, absence, and recruitment trends.
  • Continually support in the reviewing and improvement of all people processes and HR systems.
  • Creating and managing an effective company referral bonus program.
  • Additional HR projects or duties may be assigned as the team and business evolve.
