You’re invited to make a difference… as an HR Specialist (Recruitment and Staff Experience).
Please note this is a 12-month contract, commencing the end of April 2024.
This is an opportunity to join a highly engaged, experienced HR team. Your focus will be to facilitate talent acquisition and recruitment, and contribute towards a variety of projects, including internal communication, policy review, and HR metrics and analytics.
PLUS, YOU BRING YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Post secondary education in business or human resources
- 2-3 years of related experience, preferably with expertise in HR working in an integrated HRIS
- Direct experience in full-cycle recruitment across a variety of organizational levels and functions
- Strong written communication skills, and expertise drafting creative content for social media is a benefit
- Experience in the financial services sector is valuable but not essential
- This position involves some travel: you will need a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle to travel to different branch locations on occasion
Responsibilities:
- Support hiring managers from staffing approval through posting, screening, interviewing, selection, offer and onboarding, using an integrated HRIS (UKG).
- Lead talent acquisition efforts, including sourcing candidates, managing Kindred’s EVP on job sites promoting opportunities on social media, and coordinating co-op placements.
- Facilitate the extended onboarding program for new hires throughout their introductory period and beyond, to positively impact staff experience.
- Support staff and leaders throughout the employee life cycle, including leaves and offboarding.
- Contribute to team projects, including building internal communications, reviewing HR policy and program materials, and supporting HR metrics and analytics.
