Description:
Support our Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, and Distribution Center Business Units.
- Design, develop and maintain all technical and administrative support functions to the HR leaders by accurately maintaining employee records and owning administration of all HR functions.
- Support the execution of cyclical processes including: Benefits Administration, Open Enrollment, New Hire Orientation, Annual Performance Reviews, Recruiting, and New Program implementation.
- Interact with Neweggers at varying levels within the organization and providing support in multiple facets.
- Support the staffing needs of our many business units including hiring, promotion, transfers, resignations, and terminations processing.
- Provide frontline support to hourly employees for minor questions and assistance. The HR Generalist will need to escalate varying employee issues to HR leadership as they come in.
- Perform new hire orientation for new hires.
- Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
- Assist with all internal and external HR related matters.
- Manage the organization’s employee database and prepare reports.
- Support the HR department in implementing programs to help improve employee experience.
- Train and provide support to HR team members.
- Collect Organization charts for every Business Unit.
- Handle all administrative tasks for onboarding and exit interviews, including entering data into HR information systems and auditing for accuracy and compliance
- ossess a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience
- 1-3 years in progressive HR functions or roles within a company at least 200-300 people.
- Must know applicable state and federal labor laws.
- Strong customer/client service skills and ability to communicate (written and verbal) with all levels of organization, both internal and external. Anticipates problems (and escalates when appropriate) and demonstrates strong prioritization and organization skills, catches errors, and takes action to complete tasks accurately and on time.
- Ability to work with highly confidential information. Ability to take initiative, and make fair and consistent decisions that align with our strategy and values. Ability to multi-task and be a flexible team player, who can easily adapt to change.
- Strong communication skills, strong written and creatively skills. Ability to manage through change. Ability to manage priorities and communicate recommendations with data.
- Familiar with ADP Workforce Now, CIGNA Leave of Absence, SAP, Excel, and ADP Time and Attendance
