Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with sales representatives and sales management to support the sale of IBM products & solutions
  • Act as a primary point of contact for connecting Softchoice and IBM software Resources
  • Attend face-to-face customer meetings with sales representatives and interview customer’s to gain an understanding of the customer’s business and technology needs, and identify IBM product & solution opportunities
  • Design, configure, and verify product technical configurations and solutions that meet customer requirements
  • Attend face-to-face customer meetings with sales representatives to present, position and help sell IBM software solutions
  • Deliver IBM product roadmap, licensing and financial content to customers
  • Ability to manage, track and forecast sales opportunity pipeline for IBM software on a weekly basis
  • Maintain Up to date IBM software sales and technical certifications
  • Identify areas to improve efficiency and effectiveness of internal processes with respect to sales, bid desk and supply chain teams
  • Drive field sales understanding and awareness of IBM software products and sales process
  • Initiate proactive planning sessions with Softchoice Account Executives in preparation for unsolicited bids with customers
