Responsibilities:

ROLE OVERVIEW:

This position requires a commercially-minded, target-driven individual who is passionate about managing and growing a diverse portfolio of accounts spanning both our Process Control and Life Science divisions.
The role will involve the day-to-day management of existing Silver-banded customers and Intragroup sales accounts, and you will be expected to identify and deliver growth opportunities, as well as provide support for technical enquires where appropriate. While not a truly mobile role, you will be expected to visit customers within your own region as required.
In this role you will work closely with the Customer Service and Technical Sales teams
A positive can-do attitude is important, as you will be part of a dedicated team who deliver great value to our organisation and drive IMI Precision Engineering’s business and sales strategies.
Work Environment: Candidates must be living full-time in Germany to be considered, as this role will heavily service customers within the region (20% travel). Hybrid and/or Remote working schedule available.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for all aspects related to outbound prospecting and lead generation
  • Forecasting in line with commercial review schedule
  • Qualify your accounts annually and review banding
  • Establish and deliver a communication frequency for your accounts
  • Develop NPS plan for your accounts and deliver improvements where required
  • Facilitate and deliver customer visits to cover commercial, technical topics etc – prioritising those accounts with highest growth potential
  • Manage pricing for your accounts, including planning and delivering of SPI
  • Manage account vitality – which accounts can move up to Gold, and which can be moved to Bronze
  • Collaborate with other sales, or other functional personnel to drive key business objectives – must be able to add value as an individual contributor, working with a broader group with multiple stakeholders
  • Coordinate with marketing functions to support VOC calls, NPS surveys, and general market research activities
  • Conduct information sessions with prospects and customers to provide information on services available.
  • Lead discussion during calls and meetings; discern needs.
  • Follow up with prospective or current customers.
