Instrument Technician

Opportunities exist for enthusiastic Grade 3 Sterilising (CSSD) Technicians in a permanent part-time or full-time capacity reporting to the CSSD Manager. Based in Epworth Geelong- Waurn Ponds, you will contribute to infection prevention and control and overall patient safety by provision of quality reusable medical devices through sterilization and disinfection processes. You will support the theatre team by collection, cleaning, decontamination, inspection, testing, packing, sterilisation, storage and distribution of reusable medical devices and equipment and will be a proactive member of a self-directed and cohesive CSSD team.

You will be dedicated to quality service provision that aligns with the requirements of relevant regulations and standards, enjoy working independently within a team under the direction of a team leader and department manager, and be committed to quality improvement.
