Description:

Our client is seeking an Integrated Business Planning Consultant for a 12-month engagement to lead their transformation around business planning.

This Integrated Business Planning Consultant role will work across various business functions such as Finance, IT, Distribution, and Manufacturing and partner with various business leaders to create and integrate new processes around business planning. They will be responsible for the following:

  • Lead the clusters’ implementation of planning process within an Integrated Business Planning framework.
  • Drive the transformation of commercial, financial and supply chain processes through the effective utilization of SAP IBP & SAC Planning tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate demand to revenue planning activities with other business functions, fostering a cohesive and strategic approach
  • Collaborate with the regional and global project team
  • Develop and implement change management strategies at the cluster level, to ensure successful adoption of state-of-the-art planning processes
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the cluster commercial, financial and supply chain team

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the cluster commercial, financial and supply chain tea

To be considered for this role, you must have proven experience leading business transformation initiatives, specifically around planning. Change management experience and dynamic leadership skills are essential. Additionally:

  • experience with SAP planning tools and project management skills
  • Manufacturing experience is preferred
  • Must possess an accredited Canadian accounting designation (CPA, CA, CMA or CGA) in good standing
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in commercial business processes, with at least 5 years in a project management/leadership position.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
  • Proven track record in leading business transformation initiatives, with a focus on Integrated Business Planning
  • Extensive experience in change management, with the ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Strong expertise in business planning technologies and their application in financial planning processes, preferably based on SAP tools.
  • Preferable: background in financial planning for a manufacturing organization
