Previous experience at the ports in Montreal is an asset.
Intermodal drivers are responsible for the movement of containers from the port and railyards in Montreal to various destinations in eastern Ontario. Drivers will pick up loaded containers from Montreal and deliver them to various customers or drop lots then return to the ports with empty or loaded containers. Most deliveries are live unload with a driver often staying hooked to the same chassis for several days at a time. These positions allow drivers to return home in Montreal each night. Safety and patience are key considerations as drivers will be spending time in congested and busy rail yards with large equipment.

Opportunity Details:

• 1 year of verifiable Class-1/AZ experience in Canada or the US is required
• Monday to Friday, Day Shift. Normally 5-6 am until 4-5 pm. Enjoy your evenings and weekends at home!
• Park location is in Pointe Claire
• Full time with benefits
• Pay is a mix of mileage and hourly with bonus programs.
