JOB DESCRIPTION

Location: Concord, Ontario, Canada (In-Office Position)

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We seek innovative individuals passionate about venture capital, entrepreneurship, or related fields to join our team as Analysts. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our Venture Capital investment team, making an immediate impact.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (majors in Finance, Economics, Business, Computer Science, or related field preferred).
  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience in venture capital, investment banking, private equity, or high-growth start-ups.
  • Experience in the online gaming industry is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Advanced Excel skills, proficiency in PowerPoint, and familiarity with deal documentation process.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and passion for emerging technologies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate new gaming investment opportunities, analyzing usage trends, monetization strategies, and competitive landscapes in mobile gaming, esports, and virtual/augmented reality, focusing on seed and pre-seed ventures.
  • Conduct due diligence on potential gaming portfolio companies, with a focus on gambling tech, social casino, and blockchain gaming models.
  • Support gaming portfolio initiatives, including live operations, marketing campaigns, localization roadmaps, and regulatory compliance.
  • Assist portfolio companies with business development, future funding, and strategic initiatives.
  • Evaluate new investment opportunities, including funds, SPVs, and direct investments.
  • Create financial models and projections.
