PROJECT DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Front End Developer to join our Front Office team for a critical project in the banking domain. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Java development, front-end technologies, and extensive experience in banking and capital markets projects. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver robust solutions that meet business objectives.

SKILLS

Must have
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Java development
Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (Angular, React, etc.).
Strong understanding of relational databases, particularly Oracle DB, and experience in designing and optimizing database schemas and queries.
Experience with JBoss Enterprise Application Platform or similar application servers for deploying Java applications.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate in both Italian and English.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.
Nice to have
Banking and capital markets projects.
Knowledge of financial markets, banking operations, and regulatory compliance is highly desirable.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for front-end development projects in the banking domain.
Design, develop, and maintain Java-based front-end applications to support various banking operations and processes.
Implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces using front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular or React.
Integrate front-end applications with backend systems, particularly Oracle databases, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability.
Utilize JBoss Enterprise Application Platform for deployment and management of Java applications in production environments.
Conduct code reviews, testing, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure the quality and reliability of developed software.
Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements related to banking and capital markets.
