Java Engineer | Thriving FinTech - £70k + mostly remote

I have just partnered up with an exciting FinTech near Bristol, who are providing one huge platform to manage all types of lending and finTech services for huge commercials banks! The likes of Metro Bank have been one of their trusted partners alongside a range of other clients in UK and internationally.
The team has been growing steadily for over two decades and now have a team of 23 which includes Backend Java engineers, Frontend React developers, QA and DevOps Engineers.
The current tech team are all working across Java 11 & 17, Springboot, API, MongoDB, AWS, Spring Security, Microservices and Agile to name a few technologies. We are looking for Java engineers who are strong on the backend and have experience with Springboot / Security & Microservices as a minimum. The rest can be taught on the job!
This team are building a finance software that is cloud-based and connects seamlessly with international clients to save them a lot of time and headaches and focus on providing a good customer experience across the lending journey.
As a Java engineer joining this team, you will be happy to get involved in green-field projects, existing systems / brownfield projects, ability to identify and encourage improvements and be a proactive team-player!

The salary for the Java developer role can go up to £70k, plus mostly remote (with once or twice a month in the office), 25 days holiday, private medical cover, company pension contribution and two-stage interview process.
