SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in cultural programming, event management, or related fields, with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Passionate about social and environmental impact
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Digitally Native.

Responsibilities:

PURPOSE & SCOPE

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Cultural Programming Manager to join our team at The Conduit Club in Oslo, Norway. The Cultural Programming Manager will be responsible for curating and coordinating a diverse range of cultural events, activities, and experiences that enrich the member experience and contribute to our mission of fostering positive social impact. This role requires a passion for arts, culture, and community engagement, as well as strong organizational and communication skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY DUTIES

  • Support the development and delivery of The Conduit’s program of over 150+ events per year
  • Act as the main point of contact for the administration for the Cultural Programme alongside the Programme Managers, Technical and Event teams.
  • Curate Cultural Programming:** Develop and implement a comprehensive cultural programming strategy that aligns with the values and mission of The Conduit Club. Curate a diverse range of events, including but not limited to art exhibitions, performances, workshops, lectures, film screenings, and cultural exchanges.
  • Collaborate with Artists and Creatives:** Build and maintain relationships with local and international artists, creatives, cultural organizations, and thought leaders to facilitate collaborations and partnerships for cultural programming initiatives.
  • Event Planning and Execution:** Plan, coordinate, and execute cultural events and activities from concept to completion, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional member experiences. This includes managing logistics, securing venues, coordinating with vendors, and overseeing event staffing.
  • Community Engagement:** Engage with members to understand their interests, preferences, and feedback regarding cultural programming. Foster a sense of community and belonging by creating opportunities for members to actively participate in cultural events and initiatives.
  • Marketing and Promotion:** Develop marketing strategies and promotional campaigns to effectively promote cultural events and activities to members and the broader community. Utilize various channels, including social media, email newsletters, and website content, to generate excitement and drive attendance.
  • Budget Management:** Develop and manage budgets for cultural programming initiatives, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial guidelines.
  • Evaluation and Improvement:** Monitor and evaluate the impact and success of cultural programming initiatives, collecting feedback from members and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and innovation.
  • Adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures

  • Support and contribute to the overall success of The Conduit
