Description:
We are seeking a full time Junior Business Analyst to join our dynamic Finance Team at Dutton Automotive. Located at our iconic Richmond Headquarters, you will assist with the integrity and delivery of all reporting within the Group.
Reporting to the Group Finance Manager and Business Intelligence Analyst this role will see you working closely with the Senior Finance Management team to deliver timely and accurate information, including statutory reporting to our Japanese ownership entity.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Working closely with the Finance Manager on delivering:
- Daily P&L and Weekly reporting
- Stock reporting.
- Monthly reporting including delivery of board pack, Business Unit reporting and other Board and third party required reporting.
- Annual budgeting model and forecasting as required.
- Communicate with key stakeholders across the business to validate and improve business reporting.
- Champion Group reporting tool (Calumo) including the management of data integrity and the development of existing and new reports used across the business.
- Work closely with senior management in delivering ad hoc analysis on a wide range of Business Unit and Group metric analysis work.
- Prepare Bank/Covenants/Cashflow modelling.
- Year end, Interim and Half Yearly Audit preparation and compliance.
- Financial Statement preparation and lodgement.
- Lodgement of financial results to our ownership entity (Sojitz Corporation).
- Other ad hoc duties such as:
- Banking reporting as required.
- Assisting with strategic business cases.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Tertiary qualifications in Commerce with major/s in Finance, Economics and/or Accounting.
- Experience with Business Intelligence software/tools such as Calumo, Tableau or others.
- Must have advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including experience using VBA.
- Strong business statistics and analysis skills.
- Ability to facilitate the computerisation of analytics and data collection/extraction.
- Ability to gather and clean datasets across multiple data sources.
- 1 - 2 year’s experience in a similar role will be highly regarded.
