Job Description:

SUMMARY

As the Chef, you will be responsible for preparing vegetarian meals for business and entertaining at the corporate office and at the Executive residences when needed.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Post secondary education in Culinary Arts is highly preferred
• Minimum 5 years’ experience preparing vegetarian cuisines including South Asian (Gujarati; Punjabi; South Indian), and others
• Experience or willingness to learn other cuisines (Mexican; Middle Eastern; Chinese, Italian, etc.)
• Ideally a background in food preparation for a hotel or restaurant
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle
• Strong communication skills

• Prepare lunches and dinners for business and entertaining, including catering for small special events
• Provide assistance to the Corporate Chefs to prepare food for presentations; lunches; foodie bootcamp and meetings
• Assist in the daily running of the test kitchens, purchase and keep stock of supplies needed
• Assist the Corporate Chefs in planning and executing Corporate events.
• Ability to work evenings, Saturdays and Sundays as required, both in-home and in our corporate kitchens.
