Description:

Responsible for sales of Volume and Units in their specific territory (MDs and Retailers) according to the company strategy, focusing building long term relationships and respecting current commercial policies and guidelines established by the company.

Responsible to develop, consolidate and increase sales volume within Central America and Caribbean Islands . Will perform the promotion of the strategic portfolio according to a consultative sales model, focusing on sales targets and segmentation strategy.

  • Complex Problem Solving - Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
  • Time Management - Managing one’s own time and the time of others.
  • Optical industry knowledge is desired
  • Knowledge of Sales Negotiation Techniques
  • Manage a defined territory by identifying and qualifying leads, preparing/presenting/proposing solutions, and closing sales.
  • Develop and implement an ongoing follow-up strategy for potential clients. The follow-up strategy must move the potential clients towards closing business with CVI
  • Excellent initiative and interpersonal communications skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence account decision makers at key levels.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with computer and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Travel required around 75%
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive field sales experience
  • Desirable experience in contact lenses and / or pharmaceutical industry
  • Highly valuable any experience on Central America countries
  • Establish long-term and short-term objectives for their customers, execute promotional sales plans.
  • Executes the sales process to cultivate and manage long-term relationships and seeking out, qualifying and closing new sales opportunities.
  • Seeks to expand the CVI participation within all the accounts and new customers.
  • Participate effectively in events and congresses when required.
  • Inform about any competitive actions and send it to their supervisor, for example: current market prices, new products, delivery times, promotional actions, materials.
  • Update customers database (ABC segmentation, SalesForce.com, Reports).
  • Respect the current commercial policy.
  • Achieve and / or exceed the Sales Target ($ and units) stipulated by Sales Management.
  • Prepare and send, according to the frequency determined by Management, reports of visits, plans of work, Salesforce.com etc.
  • Maintain good use and ensure proper maintenance of the company car, cell phone, laptop, iPad and any other work tool provided by the company
  • Comply with the administrative requirements within the stipulated deadlines; be the first contact for the customers within their territory
  • Respect company information confidentially and always comply with the Standards Procedures, Conduct and Ethics Policies
  • Support on administrative matters related to the assigned customers (Customer Master Data maintenance, Collection actions, Customer complaints, etc.)
  • Maintain permanent contact with CVI Customer Service and Credit & Collection teams to follow product orders delivery to customers and payment conditions.
