- Qualified as a UK solicitor, ideally with a Business/Technology/Commercial specialty
- Experience serving as an in-house legal counsel or within a law firm, advising on matters similar to those required by the role
- Excellent contract drafting, review, and negotiation skills
- Ability to break down complex legal concepts into clear, actionable guidance
- Sound judgement to spot potential legal risks and determine when specialist counsel needed
- Superior communication, collaboration, and organisational abilities
- Business-minded strategist who stays on top of industry regulations

- An understanding of razorblue’s business, clients and the market it works in
- Excellent conversational fluency in English is required to clearly explain complex legal issues

Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Legal Counsel on a part time basis to join our growing team. Should you choose to accept, your responsibilities will encompass:
- Provides counsel and guidance on business contracts, services agreements, procurement terms, vendor relationships, and other relevant legal matters
- Reviews and drafts legal documents including client and vendor agreements, Statements of Work, terms and conditions, policies, and more
- Researches and advises on laws and regulations affecting key aspects of the business
- Recommends approaches to appropriately assess and mitigate legal risks
- Consults with Compliance Manager to ensure data privacy regulations, cybersecurity standards, and intellectual property laws
- Works with the People Team to provide guidance on employment policies and address workplace issues
- Manages relationships with and engagement of outside counsel when necessary
- Maintains current knowledge of regulations impacting IT/technology service provider
Our perfect candidate should have a wealth of legal knowledge spanning issues impacting business operations and strategy and be able to use these skills to act as an internal legal advisor to razorblue is a must!
