We are looking for a skilled Logistics Assistant to assist with various tasks related to the transportation and distribution of goods. The Logistics Assistant will be responsible for coordinating shipments, tracking inventory, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods to customers. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience working in a logistics or transportation role.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Coordinate and schedule shipments of goods to customers and vendors.
• Prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading, invoices, and shipping labels.
• Track inventory levels and assist with inventory management activities, such as stock counting and reconciliation.
• Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues or delays.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of goods and materials as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory levels, and transportation costs.
• Monitor transportation routes and schedules to ensure on-time delivery of goods.
• Assist with optimizing logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Provide support to the logistics team with ad hoc projects and tasks as needed.
