Do you want to be a part of the change towards world-class product availability? Valmet Flow Control Business line in Vantaa is looking for a Manager, Availability and Offering Management.
Valmet’s Flow Control business line is one of the leading providers of mission-critical flow control solutions and services for process industries. We employ about 2,850 people in approximately 40 countries. With our global team of experts and innovative solutions, we help our customers to improve their process performance and ensure the safe flow of materials.
In this role you will play a key role in turning lead times and delivery performance into our competitive advantage. You will work in close co-operation with sales, operations, product lines and other Business units. You will build a thorough understanding of our product offering and inventories, and how they are managed, but also develop the offering and lead time management processes and reporting further. This role includes a wide range of different responsibilities, for example:

• Participating in shaping and implementing availability strategy
• Developing and running end-to-end processes to manage the MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Operations) product offering, lead times and inventories
• Participating in managing our configuration tool and coordinating the processes around it
• Participating in the development of Salesforce and PowerBI reporting tools for MRO offering and lead time management to enable data-driven decision-making

To be successful in this role
You have a solid understanding of product availability and offering management processes. You are comfortable with working and influencing in global networks.

We would also like you to have:

• At least 3 years of experience from relevant field e.g., availability and offering management processes in an industrial company / industrial product management / data analytics / consulting or from a similar field
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Economics or from a similar field, with excellent performance in numerical subjects
• Experience from data analytics and working with large datasets
• Strong problem solving and data analysis skills with ability to translate well-prepared analytics to clear recommendations for executive level audiences
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel. Basic understanding of SQL and databases considered as an advantage
• Excellent people skills, including ability to work with many different stakeholders, influence in a matrix organization and adapt to different cultures and backgrounds
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken (fluency in Finnish language is not required)
• ERP (M3), Salesforce and PowerBI knowledge is considered as an advantage
