Description:
The Future Generation Joint Venture brings together the combined engineering experience and expertise of WeBuild, Clough and Lane and has been selected to design construct Snowy 2.0. This project is based within the Snowy Mountains in NSW and will deliver one of the largest pumped hydro schemes in the world.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Tertiary Qualifications or related discipline such as, Degree in Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- White Card
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working in the Construction Industry in a similar role – preferred
- Experience working on large scale construction projects or other suitable projects works
- Good understanding of Quality Specification (Q6) and ISO AS/NZS 9001 requirements.
- Sound experience and knowledge of construction materials and related specifications
- Experience in Microsoft office suite and any EMDS.
Responsibilities:
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
The Material QA/QC Coordinator is accountable for review, monitoring and coordination of all material requirements, received or delivered on site and the same time surveillance on construction activities to verify compliance with drawings, specifications of all installed materials.
CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Establish project quality systems for maintaining permanent supplies records and traceability.
- Ensure compliance of all relevant permanent supplies and accompanying documentation.
- Coordinate with procurement department for the delivery and inspection of all types of permanent supplies.
- Arranging testing of permanent supplies in accordance with approved ITPs.
- Report Non-Conformances immediately following their identification.
- Assessing Quality Records to ensure compliance and ensuring records are updated in the electronic and hard files in a timely and efficient manner.
- Review and consult with Quality Inspector on matters of surveillance and inspection, regarding materials.
- Any other duties as directed by the Quality Control Lead.
Complete required tasks in a timely manner.
