Description:
Responsibilities:
- Secure our overall strategy and action plan for responsible sourcing of materials, including cotton, MMC fibers, wool, leather, and other fibers.
- Support and align regional materials teams in developing and implementing material integrity and traceability strategies.
- Manage product-level materials certification integrity and support the shift to central handling from sourcing offices.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to maintain and embed knowledge of certified and responsibly-sourced materials into our global supply chain organization.
- Maintain expert knowledge of more sustainable and responsibly sourced materials, and support internal knowledge growth across the company through communication, training, and seminars.
- Maintain strong relations with certification bodies and standard setters to ensure adherence to standards.
- Monitor progress towards corporate targets and set global and regional KPIs.
- Represent BESTSELLER in industry forums and initiatives on materials integrity, certification and traceability, with a focus on sourcing and implementation
