We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Solution Analyst to manage our NAM solution portfolio. This position is responsible for supporting operational activities for local applications, providing front-office functional support, business analysis for global applications deployed in NAM, and supporting solution transformation activities by optimizing the portfolio and moving towards a standard core model aligned with our strategic plan.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Manage and govern the NAM application portfolio, including troubleshooting of issues, developing and supporting the convergence/harmonization roadmap and driving towards a standardized Alstom core model landscape strategy.
- Ensure that all solutions in NAM landscape comply with security standards and vulnerability protocols and take proactive measures to manage technology obsolescence.
- Oversee the application/incident management process to ensure timely resolution and adherence of KPI/SLAs by our support vendors; CMDB is up to date.
- Be the point of contact for all NAM solutions and manage effective communications with all stakeholders, business teams, IS&T business partners and central solution teams.
Application portfolio optimization
- Accelerate decommissioning plan when relevant; Stop all shadow IT initiatives and propose alternate validated solutions with the central domain towers.
- Define replacements and decommissioning plan for tolerated applications along with domain directors.
- Initiate and manage projects to deliver landscape harmonization and standardization of solutions.
Local Applications and Front-office support
- Coordinate and manage incidents/service requests for NAM applications. with help from our strategic partners and ensure SLA/KPIs are respected.
- Coordinate delivery of enhancements in line with business requirements and core solutions/standards.
- Build and drive a roadmap for front-office applications, evaluating emerging technology, and developing solutions that deliver the expected benefits to the business.
This position will report to AMER Regional Solution Manager, and will interact on a regular basis with Business Solutions Service line, IS&T Business Partners, Local Operations Regional Managers, solutions architects, business partners and solutions vendor and requires strong functional understanding of business administration in all related domain (ERP, HR, Finance, accounting, Sourcing, Manufacturing, industrial etc.)
Qualification:
To be considered for this role, the candidate needs to demonstrate the following experience and skills attributes:
- Minimum of 5 – 7 years of experience in IT Incident Management or Application Management roles. Experience in manufacturing/automotive companies is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Strong understanding of IT operations management and ITIL processes & procedures.
- Able to influence and negotiate with partners and stakeholders to find collaborative solutions to complex issues.
- Knowledge of engineering solutions/applications, ERP, architecture principles, DevOps is preferred.
- Experience in managing technology implementation/decommissioning/upgrade projects with global teams.
- ITIL or any Project Management certification is preferred.
- Fluent in English.
- Needs to be able to work with autonomy in an international environment.
- Good team spirit. loyal, result oriented, good communication and interpersonal skills, very positive, quick learner, open-minded, confident, motivated, autonomous.
- Demonstrates good communication and change management skills. Be result oriented and demonstrates intellectual curiosity and creativity.
