Description:

  • The National Sales Manager is responsible maintain and build customer relationships and to the execution of the company’s strategic objectives for non-multiple business within ROI & NI.
  • The National sales Manager is responsible for the performance, management and development of the sales team allocated to service the sector.
  • Leverage their experience and knowledge to grow in existing sectors and develop future profitable business opportunities.
  • Challenge the business and deliver continuous improvement that ultimately will improve overall business performance.
  • The National Sales Manager will work with other senior managers and key account managers to ensure delivery of the business strategic objectives.
  • Through the development of new business opportunities, sectors and products the National Sales Manager will ensure continued growth and profitability in line with business objectives.
  • Through training and coaching the National Sales Manager will up-skill and develop direct reports to ensure sufficient talent is available for future business opportunities

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

  • Proven work experience within FMCG.
  • Experience managing a high-performance sales team.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • An ability to understand and analyse sales performance metrics.
  • Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Execution of the company’s strategic objectives for non-multiple business within ROI & NI.
  • Directing & managing all ASM’s
  • Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in key customer accounts.
  • Negotiate and close agreements with large customers.
  • Monitor and analyse performance metrics and suggest improvement.
  • Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities.
  • Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with customer’s needs.
  • Stay up to date with marketplace N.P.D.
  • Stay up to date with new product launches within the wider Scandi group.
  • Sales forecasting & reporting
  • All product promotions and advertisements
  • Participate fully with the rest of the management team in sales and cross functionally.
