We are currently looking for a .NET developer to work for an insurance industry project.

NECESSARY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3-5 years of experience in application development using C# and .NET framework.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
• Working knowledge of SQL Server and experience writing database queries.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• A passion for technology and a commitment to continuous learning.
• English Level: Upper intermediate.

WHAT YOU´LL DO

You´ll be in charge of helping one of the insurance most important companies worldwide to provide support and improve their internal applications ecosystem.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy new features and functionalities for insurance applications using C# and .NET framework.
• Collaborate with business analysts to understand user requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Perform code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Maintain and troubleshoot existing applications, including bug fixes and performance optimization.
• Utilize SQL Server to design and implement efficient database solutions for application needs.
• Write unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality and functionality.
• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Utilize Jira for issue tracking, project management, and agile development practices. (Desirable)
• Visual Basic 6 knowledge (Desirable) to maintain and support legacy applications.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in .NET technologies and programming best practices.
• Maintain a strong understanding of insurance industry workflows and their application to develop effective software solutions.
• Document code clearly and concisely for future reference and knowledge sharing.
