Network Engineer

KEY REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

• Knowledge of the insurance or financial sector (preferred).
• Demonstrated experience in analysing, configuring, troubleshooting or designing complex networks.
• Well founded experience in implementation and integration of network, data, tools and technology such as next generation firewall technology.
• Demonstrated experience designing network environments from end-to-end.

In this newly created Network Engineer role you will work closely with our outsourced provider for data centre and network infrastructure as well as our internal Information Security team in the development, implementation and operation of Avant’s network systems. You will ensure data communications and networks are practical and fit-for-purpose and secure. Also, ensure compatibility between selected hardware and software, and maintain network performance.
