Description:

Have you:

  • Knowledge of Endpoint Security and centralised management technologies including Next-Generation Firewalls, Endpoint Protection, EDR and Secure Web Gateways.
  • Knowledge in establishing and documenting secure configuration baselines, developing hardening guides aligning to industry best practise — e.g. CIS benchmarks.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity control and risk and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, CIS Top 20, OWASP, SOC, ISO 27001/2, COBIT
  • Knowledge of Active Directory Group Policy.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) & Mobile Device Management (MDM)

Responsibilities:

NETWORK ENGINEER CONTRACT ROLE DUBLIN, IRELAND

My Client is looking for an experienced Network Engineer/ Cybersecurity Host to join their team. This cybersecurity engineering role will define, implement, manage, and assure network and host security controls in line with risk appetite and the external threat landscape. They will be a subject matter expert (SME) in Network and Host based security controls and will maintain and improve the maturity of these controls. The successful candidate will need to be onsite 2 days a week in Dublin.

THE ROLE:

  • Govern, manage, and upgrade Host & Networking security tools.
  • Implementation of H&N security controls.
  • Create documentation for H&N security toolsets, including Standard Operating. Procedures and security configuration baselines.
  • Continuously review and improve H&N security controls.
  • Manage changes, provide oversight, and run regular assurance activities of H&N security controls.
  • Maintain & periodically review a list of any exceptions to H&N security configuration baselines.
  • Provide H&N SME advice to projects and support teams
