Responsibilities:
THE ROLE:
Our client is a market leading Australian organisation on the lookout for an experienced Network Engineer to join their team.
You will be responsible for the development, implementation and operation of the network systems and you will ensure data communications and networks are practical and fit-for-purpose and secure.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Devise and deploy computer and information networks ensuring accessibility and seamless compatibility between hardware and software components.
- Execute necessary upgrades to both hardware and software systems as dictated by requirements.
- Offer strategic recommendations for optimizing network installations to minimize operational expenses.
- Oversee network performance continuously, undertaking essential maintenance, repairs, and adjustments to network infrastructure as needed to uphold operational efficiency.
- Enforce robust security measures to safeguard the network, its users, and the sensitive information transmitted through it.
- Formulate, comprehend, and adhere to protocols designed for managing network crises and emergencies effectively.
