ABOUT THE ROLE

Don’t want to be stuck behind a desk? Have a passion for vehicles of all shapes and sizes? We are looking for a reliable, customer friendly and fast learning person to join our Operations team at our Belmore, 2192 branch.

Enjoy the security of this permanent full-time position working Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm! You will mostly be working outdoors in the vehicles yard and will work closely with your team to:

  • Assist with unloading vehicle stock from tow trucks as they arrive at the branch
  • Assist with the loading of sold vehicle stock to tow trucks, and/or driving assets out for delivery to buyers
  • Assist in the set-up of the auction and sale yards by moving assets around the yard in preparation for the monthly auction
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to vendors and buyers by cataloguing stock correctly and upon delivery of assets to buyers
  • Follow all WHS policies and procedures as required
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of the branch

To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Passion for cars, or experience in a similar role/industry will be highly regarded
  • Current & valid manual drivers’ license (essential)
  • Attention to detail
  • Competent verbal & written communication skills
  • Basic computer skills/ability to use an iPad
  • Ability to maintain quality standards and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • The successful candidate must be willing to work occasional overtime on weekdays where required
