POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking an Onboarding Specialist to assist in the last part of the hiring process - onboarding. This person would ensure a positive experience for all new team members, informing them of what they need to be successful in their new role.

POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

We are seeking part-time team members who can work Monday – Friday. Ideally based in Jacksonville, FL

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES

  • Minimum of one year of onboarding and/ or HR experience.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
  • Must be organized with thorough follow-up.
  • Experience and comfort with using Microsoft Office products like Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, and Teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with candidates at each step of the onboarding process.
  • Assist in the collection of required onboarding documentation.
  • Respond to phone calls, texts, and email inquiries during the onboarding process.
  • Administer any paperwork or materials employees need to begin their tasks.
  • Connect the new hire with IT personnel who can assist with hardware and software setup.
  • Schedule and send new team members their training schedules.
  • Follow up to ensure the timely completion of I-9 forms.
  • Introduce new team members to their supervisor.
  • Check in with new team members regularly during onboarding to ensure they are set up and have what they need to succeed.
  • Manage Microsoft Teams chats and be available for new hire questions.
  • Provide feedback to new team members during their onboarding process.
