ESSENTIAL SKILLS EXPERIENCE:

• Possess in-depth experience in all areas of the SDLC/STLC.
• Ability to perform a Test Process Optimisation (TPO) review when required, and presenting to clients your findings and recommendations
• Skills across numerous test levels, supporting Agile, V-Model, Waterfall and Hybrid testing methodologies.
• Mentor fellow team members in areas of project expertise
• Working within a team responsible for the analysis and planning of the testing within large scale projects
• Providing estimates for testing activities (time, people, environments etc.)
• Create comprehensive test cases relevant to test conditions
• Execute test cases and report results, raise and close defects when necessary
• Strong SQL skills to validate data from multiple sources like Files, XMLs, Databases
• Outstanding verbal and written communication
• Desirable Skills
• Certified ISTQB Advanced Test Management
• Certified in Certified Agile Essentials or Certified Agile Testing courses.
• Experience in either SAP, web services, XML, mobile apps, cloud testing or Agile methods
• Experience across one or more of the Financial Services, Health, Retail, Utilities, Banking, FMCG or Telecommunications IndustriesExperience with test automation, SQL or coding

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Principal Consultant, you will consult, lead or manage our top tier client base, covering all areas of the testing lifecycle in multiple domains. Knowledge and expertise on all Software Delivery methodologies and Test processes will be paramount as you use your technical software engineering capability to deliver testing within large scale complex Programmes/Projects on schedule and to the highest quality.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Implement an Organisational Test Strategy, Framework and tools for BAU and a Transformation.
• Oversee the implementation of an Org Test Strategy.
• Bringing the business on the journey, managing key stakeholders from C-level down, including leading upskilling within the organisation
• Lead, plan and deliver Test Strategies/Test Plans for complex projects or programs of work
• Providing estimates for resource utilisation through a project
• Collect and assess metrics against projects and regularly report test progress across your engagements to both clients and Planit senior leadership
• Management and Leading of teams both on and/or off shore
• Identify potential test issues and developing corrective action plans
• Business development if/when requiredCoaching, appraising and mentoring staff
