Surgify Medical is a Finnish health technology company with the goal of making bone surgery safer.
Surgify’s bone cutting technology was originally developed in collaboration between Aalto University and Helsinki University Hospital (HUS) Department of Neurosurgery. In many fields of surgery and dentistry, bone must be cut or removed without damaging the nearby soft structures. Bleeding, infections and nerve injuries are some of the complications that can severely affect a patients’ quality of life.
Surgify’s product is a new type of cutting device with a patented safety mechanism that pushes soft tissue away and prevents the drill from damaging vital structures such as nerves or blood vessels. Surgify technology improves the safety, speed, and precision of bone surgery to minimize these risks.
The company is commercializing its next-generation surgical bone cutting technology in Finland and internationally. Surgify Medical is now looking to hire a Product Specialist to strengthen their sales in Finland. Surgify’s office is in Espoo, Finland. This position is placed in southern Finland. The role requires extensive traveling both in Finland and abroad.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (business, marketing, sales, nursing, pharmacist or similar field) is preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Fluent English (company language) and Finnish (for client work) is a requirement, Swedish skills will be an advantage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Product Specialist/KAM will work in close collaboration with the Sales and Marketing team in establishing and growing revenue in Finland. Surgify is looking to get a strong foothold first in Finland, which means hard sales and sales support work. Commercial success is needed for the company to grow.

WORK EXPERIENCE, COMPETENCES, AND ACHIEVEMENTS EXPECTED IN THIS ROLE

• 2+ years of medical device sales experience
• Experience in working in the OR
• Spine, neurological, or orthopedic experience will be considered as an asset
• Willingness to travel
• Personality and behavior that are needed to succeed in this role
