Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

The PM Chapter Lead holds a pivotal people-focused leadership role and is responsible for enabling the success of Project Managers within the organisation. This role is critical in ensuring that Project Managers have the support, resources, and guidance they need to deliver projects effectively.

WHAT YOU’RE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Leadership and Mentorship: Providing leadership and mentorship to Project Managers, guiding them in their roles and helping them develop the necessary skills and competencies to succeed.

• Resource Allocation: Ensuring that Project Managers have access to the resources they need to carry out their projects effectively, including budget, manpower, and tools. • Support and Guidance: Offering support and guidance to Project Managers throughout the project lifecycle, assisting them in overcoming challenges and making critical decisions.

  • Training and Development: Identifying training needs and organising development programs to enhance the capabilities of Project Managers, keeping them updated with the latest industry practices and methodologies.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluating and improving project management processes and methodologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stakeholder Management: Facilitating communication and collaboration between Project Managers and stakeholders, ensuring alignment of project objectives with organisational goals.

• Risk Management: Assisting Project Managers in identifying and mitigating risks associated with their projects, ensuring that appropriate risk management strategies are in place. • Coaching and Feedback: Monitoring the performance of Project Managers and providing feedback to help them improve their performance and achieve their goals.
