POSITION SUMMARY

As a Purchasing Assistant at St Pancras Renaissance, you will ensure the smooth operation of all beverage movements, controls, and providing support to bars and Finance.

Responsibilities: Here’s what your journey with us entails

  • Adhere to and assist in the compliance of Health and Safety e.g., COSHH & Risk Assessments including cleaning or hygiene tasks.
  • Ensure that all Fire regulations are maintained by making sure that the Fire Exits are not blocked.
  • Be familiar with and practice the safe handling, care and storage of all equipment.
  • Ensure that all maintenance issues have been recorded correctly, and that all mechanical and manual equipment are used as instructed.
  • Report any machine defects to the maintenance team and ensures that the correct action is taken.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.
  • Assist in beverage preparation duties by delivering requisitions to outlets in a timely fashion.
  • Ensure required beverage stock levels are maintained in the main cellar and adjusted accordingly.
  • Advise buyer and purchasing supervisor of required order amounts to maintain cellar par level daily.
  • Routinely audit all hotel beverage storerooms for cleanliness, safety, and stock levels.
  • Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies
  • Notify manager/supervisor of low stock levels in a timely manner.
  • Comply with Marriott International Hotels Limited Regional Office policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels.
  • Mandatory Level 3 in Food Hygiene (minimum qualification level)
  • Previous experience with beverage and beverage receiving/ordering.
