    The Opportunity
    Jetstar is currently looking for a highly motivated self- starter to join our Cabin Crew team as a Reporting and Project Analyst based in Melbourne. You will act as a critical member of the Jetstar Cabin Crew team, utilising your strong analytical and project management skills to make recommendations to drive improvements, with the result in enhancing our cabin crew and passengers experience onboard when travelling with Jetstar.
    Reporting to the Senior Manager Commercial Strategy this role is responsible for developing and maintaining important reports and insights for the Cabin Crew team, including for operational and third party supplier performance, and managing the efficient delivery of key cabin crew projects and initiatives.

The core responsibilities of this role are;

  • Producing daily, monthly and ad hoc reports on Cabin Crew deliverables to all levels of our business;
  • Developing financial models and assessing performance against key business focus areas;
  • Interpreting data and confidently talking to, and delivering to a wide variety of internal stakeholders;
  • Reporting on our employee and third party performance against KPI’s.
  • Identifying and leading projects/initiatives to improve the operating efficiency of our Cabin Crew and front line teams across Australia and New Zealand;
  • Key to achieving success in this role will be your strong analytical skills as well as your ability to make recommendations based on an objective assessment of data and the strategic priorities of the Cabin Crew Team.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • Proven experience in building reports and dashboards from scratch, easily interpreted at all levels;
  • Strong analytical skills are essential
  • Experience in PowerBI and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Powerpoint);
  • Experience in developing analytical frameworks and preparing financial models to influence and support business decision making;
  • Tertiary qualifications or relevant industry experience in Business and/or Finance desired;
  • Sound understanding of the airline business an advantage
  • Experience in managing projects (including project reporting)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to influence.
