ABOUT THE SERVICE

We are looking to recruit a residential support worker to join our team at Hestia House a 4 bedded residential service for children and young people aged 8 to 18 with disabilities and or complex or challenging support needs, based in Suffolk. The young people may stay at the home on a full-time basis, during which they will be encouraged to develop new skills to help them cope with the challenges that they encounter daily.
Our residential support workers offer a person centred approach, supporting our young people to make transitions into services that can maximise opportunities for their long-term future. We focus on making sure the children’s voices are always heard and pride ourselves on providing a collaborative and caring service. We work hard to ensure the children in our care are experiencing a safe and happy childhood in a friendly, warm and inclusive environment.
We are looking for someone who has a compassionate and positive attitude, is adaptable to changing situations and has excellent communication skills.
