ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous experience in a similar role within aged care
Rostering experience
Certificate II or III in Business Administration (Desirable)

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Furnish a staffing roster that adeptly addresses the requirements of the residents while facilitating the Residential Aged Care Facility in delivering high-caliber care and optimizing individual consumer outcomes. The incumbent Roster Clerk is expected to exhibit a constructive, proficient, and hospitable demeanor in customer service, emblematic of the compassionate ethos of Baptcare’s Strathalan Community.
Preferably, the candidate should be willing to work on permanent part-time basis (the position is a maximum term arrangement for 6 months) and should possess prior experience within the aged care sector, underscored by a demonstrated proficiency in collaborative engagement with a multifarious and culturally diverse workforce and clientele. Our preference is for an individual capable of manifesting profound empathy towards senior citizens and families navigating consequential decisions pertaining to long-term care arrangements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide high quality customer service to clients, families, staff, volunteers, and visitors.
Undertake general office administration duties in an accurate and efficient manner.
Maintain a safe environment for visitors and staff through the implementation of Work Health and Safety policies and procedures.
Roster assistance on daily basis
Maintaining roster
Working to fill vacant shifts and assisting in other roster related issues
