Requirements

The successful applicant will:

  • Be a qualified Biology Teacher with appropriate teaching qualification (i.e. B.Ed. and/or PGCE) Ability to teach all science disciplines at KS3.
  • For this specific role, are looking for someone with confidence and a proven track record of outstanding results, teaching this subject to GCSE and A Level, using the Edexcel specification.
  • A full working knowledge of The National Curriculum for England and Wales and its associated assessment practices
  • Possess a strong focus on the pastoral care of children, understanding the balance between academic and social progress and support, as well as the ability to identify safeguarding concerns.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills and a positive approach to both individual and collaborative professional development.
  • Be available to join Jebel Ali School in August 2024
