Security Officer Needed at Wexford Hospital
Part Time - $16. 00 / Hour
Weekends; Moning, Afternoon, and Overnights Available
Frequent Walking / Standing Required
Moderate/Frequent Computer Usage Required
Important Information Regarding This Position:

• Officer may be required to assist nursing staff with patient restraints - proper training provided

• Officer may be required to escort nursing staff to hospital morgue with deceased patients

• PA-Issued Medical Marijuana Card is Not Accepted (Please visit jobs. aus.com to find a site that permits officers to have medical marijuana card)
• Multiple Vaccinations are required prior to working on site (Company Paid) including: two-stage Tuberculosis screening, MMR, Varicella, Tetanus screenings (TB testing instructions provided at orientation)
• Child Abuse Clearance will be submitted at orientation

• Observe and remain vigilant for signs of crime, disorder, hazard, and unusual activity
• Patrol on foot, bicycle, or via a vehicle to check for unsafe conditions, blocked entryways, security violations, mechanical problems, and unauthorized individuals
• Orally and physically de-escalating individuals, as needed
• Inspect all security devices and fire control equipment
• Screen members, visitors, and client employees to expedite their admittance to the facility
• Respond to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, flooding, water discharge, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, or inclement weather with calm urgency
• May also include patient escort, patient watch, provide safety escort, assist and/or transport deceased to morgu
