JOB SUMMARY

As a Security Operative/Traffic Warden in Loading Bay, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of traffic, efficient loading and unloading of goods, and maintaining security within designated areas. This position requires a combination of excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and security protocols. Your tasks as Security Operative/Traffic Warden will include but not be limited to:

• Monitor designated areas and enforce parking regulations to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations
• Direct traffic during peak hours or special events to prevent congestion and maintain order
• Oversee the loading and unloading of goods in designated loading areas
• Ensure that vehicles adhere to designated loading and unloading zones and site restrictions i.e. height, weight and timings
• Coordinate with delivery drivers and other personnel to facilitate efficient loading and unloading processes
• Ensure the loading bay is secured when not in use to deter unauthorised access and maintain a visible security presence.
• Monitor security cameras and alarms to identify and respond to any suspicious activity or security breaches
• Maintain accurate records of parking violations, incidents, and security-related activities
• Prepare reports detailing daily activities, incidents, and any notable observations for management review
