Description:

The Office of Alumni Engagement (OAE) is seeking to hire an alumni relations and program management professional to help drive alumni engagement to greater heights through purposeful and impactful programs that meet the University’s needs.
The Senior Assistant Manager is part of the team to drive the University’s alumni events, and partnering programs targeted at alumni residing overseas. These events and programs are organised by OAE, the schools and departments and alumni associations to create and maintain pathways for alumni participation that advance the goals of the University. The key strategic objective for the team is to nurture strong alumni relations with the growing Overseas Alumni Associations & Alumni Circles and provide support for alumni in terms of life-long learning, career advancement and business opportunities.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g. communications, marketing, business, or a relevant social science discipline)
  • A self-starter who is resourceful, committed and has strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good project management experience and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Willing to travel, and work during weekends

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the formation of overseas NTU Alumni Associations, reconnect with associations which are inactive and render support to strengthen their ties with their alma mater.
  • Support alumni programmes to engage with alumni in Singapore and overseas.
  • Support the Deputy Director to curate and organise global and regional alumni engagement programmes such as China or Regional Conference and events in collaboration with colleges and departments as well as overseas alumni associations.
  • Coordinate NTU Senior Management’s visit to engage with overseas alumni.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as alumni correspondences, procurements and payments.
