Leading ASX Listed Client Looking for Senior Financial Analyst looking for Exposure To Commercial Analytics

THE COMPANY

Our client, an ASX-listed leader in the freight and trucking industry based in Melbourne, is looking for a Financial Analyst to join their team on a 3-month temporary assignment. This role will report to the Commercial Manager. Our client has an exciting piece of work to be completed during a large transformation within the company.
They are looking for a Financial Analyst ready to take the next step in their career. This role will offer the right candidate exposure to Commercial Finance at the highest level.

This role will be reporting to the Commercial Manager and duties will include but not limited to;

• Conducting financial analysis and reporting for the company’s financial performance.
• Management Reporting.
• Extensive Cost / Labour analysis, productivity reports.
• Working with large data sets to produce timely reporting.
• Developing financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and decision-making.
• Providing in depth commentary on budget variances.
• Collaborating with other departments to support financial planning and analysis needs.
• Partnering with non-finance stakeholders across the organization.
• Streamlining the organizational practices.
• Collaborating and liaising with senior executives and external stakeholders.
• Limited financial accounting responsibilities.
• Ad-hoc financial and commercial analysis.
