RESPONSIBILITIES for the role include:

• Lead large interior design projects, with the support of the Interior Designer, and Junior team members, by taking clients briefs from design concept through to delivery, within set time-frames.
• Lead client meetings and oversee client and design team communications.
• Develop Drawing Issue Sheets and workflow programs for all projects.
• Collaborate with the Lead Project Interior Designer, for the delivery of concepts, design development and detailed design, through sketches, 2d drawings (including sectional information), 3d visuals and technical design documentation.
• Assisting with the specification of furniture, finishes, and fittings whilst balancing project budgets.
• Collaborating and liaising with suppliers, sub-contractors, and industry specialists.
• Overseeing Finishes, Furnishings, Lighting & Small Power, Sanitaryware, Ironmongery & CGI Schedules across RIBA Stages 2-3.
• The production of 2D & 3D drawing information in both Vectorworks & Sketch-Up across RIBA Stages 1-6 to meet key dates across the delivery program.
• The management of internal project reviews.
• Assist with drawing and CGI markups as part of the review process.
• Providing a weekly program report to Directors and Associate to track progress and remain on track to meet key delivery deadlines, highlighting client risk/delays.
• Reviewing full drawing packs before final upload to Asite or similar.
• Assisting the Associate/Director with producing end-of-stage reports summarizing projects for clients.
• Carrying out informal monthly one-on-ones with junior members of the team, and supporting the Associate or Director on quarterly formal one-to-ones.
• Working within a team environment, reporting directly to the Directors.
• Promoting positive studio culture to all team members and attending networking and industry insight events.
• Assist with brand awareness, and contribute to creative content for social media platforms

REQUIREMENTS for the role include:

• Proficiency in Vectorworks, SketchUp, Enscape, Adobe CC, and Microsoft OS.
• A minimum of 6 years’ of post-grad experience in a design studio or architects practice.
• A degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
• Capable of and experience in working with RIBA stages 1-6.
• Technical capabilities for detailed drawings, joinery detailing, and tender packages.
• In-depth FF&E knowledge.
• Experience in administrative duties (including: requesting supplier quotes, general administration including filing, arranging internal workshops for the wider team, completion of quarterly one-to-one forms for HR, IMS file support
