As we continue to deliver & evolve, we are looking for an experienced Senior Project Electrical Engineer to join our New Energy Procurement team.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Engineering qualifications at a tertiary level in the field of electrical engineering
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Experience with HV power systems and substations
• Knowledge of AS9001 Quality Systems
• Strong conflict resolution abilities
• Essential qualities include customer focus, teamwork, accountability, and a results-driven approach

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will be responsible for providing conceptual and detailed engineering of HV substations, solar, battery, and electrical BOP of the project and assist with all Project procurement and purchases of electrical goods and services.
The primary challenge of this position is to ensure the project is completed in a timely and cost-effective manner to meet contractual arrangements made with the client.

YOU WILL PERFORM THE FOLLOWING RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support in procuring and acquiring electrical goods and services for all project needs
• Independently plan and execute professional engineering tasks
• Provide consultation, recommendations, and expertise in specialized engineering areas • Supervise and coordinate diverse design activities across disciplines
• Manage technical interfaces between disciplines, equipment suppliers, and subcontractors
• Create Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) and work packages for electrical installation projects
