We are looking for an experienced occupational therapist to support the delivery of our highly valued pre-registration BSc and MSc occupational therapy programmes. This role is for 0.4 FTE to cover maternity leave until February 2025. We are looking for someone with higher institute experience (level 5) or someone who is considering a move into academia to build on their clinical and practice education experience (level 4).
We are looking for someone who shares our passion for high-quality occupational therapy education. You will have an appreciation of issues facing contemporary clinical practice, higher education, and health services nationally.

THE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE NEEDED

- Be an experienced practice educator
- Have some teaching / educational experience
- Educated to Masters Level (level 5)

Responsibilities:
- contributing to the design and delivery of programmes including, session delivery, marking, examining and moderating across the programmes
- supporting students on placement and presenting a positive image to all stakeholders
- providing pastoral student support and academic counselling as required
- supporting selection interviews and open days
- active involvement in student research projects
- quality monitoring and enhancement activities across Faculty and University team
