Service Desk Engineer

at  EORTC

The Service Desk Engineer will work under the supervision of the Head of IT.
Main responsibilities / Major Activities
Ensures end-users can make the best use of their equipment and applications.
Participates in the setup and configuration of network and cloud infrastructure.
Provides support in case of user requests or operational incidents with IT systems
Oversees the setup and maintenance of computer systems (software and hardware).
Profile
Bachelor in informatics or same level acquired through experience

IN-DEPTH KNOWLEDGE OF MICROSOFT TECHNOLOGIES:

Windows operating systems, Office, Office 365, SharePoint, Teams, Exchange…
Good understanding of PC networks
Knowledge of Windows server management
Knowledge of computer hardware parts
Experience with IT help desk management systems is an asset
Experience with the Microsoft Azure environment is an asset
Passionate about information technology and eager to learn
Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
Good written & spoken English (Dutch & French are assets)
