JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is a Japanese manufacturer and distributor of electronic components. The main role is to manage the internal system and troubleshoot issues when required.
Reporting to: IT Manager
【What you will be working on】

Software support:

• Install, configure, and provide support for a variety of software applications used throughout the company.
• Collaborate with vendors to resolve software-related issues and implement updates

Network Support:

• Assist in maintaining the company’s local area network (LAN), ensuring connectivity and troubleshooting network issues.
• Collaborate with the IT team to implement and manage security protocols, including firewalls and antivirus solutions.

User Support:

• Provide first-level support to a user base (employees), addressing hardware and software issues promptly and effectively
• Assist users in troubleshooting and resolving technical problems related to desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
• Offer remote and on-site assistance, ensuring minimal downtime for end-users.

REQUIREMENT

(Must)

• Diploma holder in IT or Computer Science
• Experience and knowledge of VB.Net is required (Training will be provided for junior staff)
• Willing to learn and committed to work
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team

(Preference)

• Exposure to Japanese companies would be advantageous!
