Description:

We are seeking a Solicitor with expertise in real estate to join our Sydney Real Estate team.
About the Team
In this role you will report to
Felicity Savage
, a senior Partner in our real estate group. Felicity acts for developers and investors across the spectrum of large scale complex real estate transactions. Her current practice concentrates on investment and development projects. Felicity also has a depth of knowledge in alternative asset classes such as student accommodation transactions, data centres, hotels, retirement living and manufactured homes. Her practice also involves structuring and implementing joint ventures.
Felicity is consistently ranked in industry publications as a leading real estate lawyer and was nominated as one of the world’s best lawyers by Chambers Asia Pacific She is also ranked by Best Lawyers in Australia in the area of Real Estate law and was the only Australian finalist for Euromoney Women in Business Law Asia – Real Estate in 2015.
About You
You will have experience in real estate and have exposure to large scale real estate projects within a first-tier or high profile property practice. You will have an ability to apply core property and commercial law principles to a wide variety of investment and development scenarios as well as knowledge of trust law. You will have a level of familiarity with other disciplines that impact on property transactions, including financing, stamp duty and construction which is commensurate with your level of experience.

You will have

  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with a strong knowledge of the real estate industry - to deliver prompt and commercially astute advice
  • Strong commitment to client service and well-developed relationship management ability - you will play a key role in supporting and actively developing our relationships with our clients
  • Team focus – an ability and willingness to mentor junior colleagues and support other team members
  • First rate experience in drafting agreements and allocating risk in a commercially appropriate manner
  • Recognised real estate experience gained in a similar environment
