The Senior Data Analyst plays a vital role within the Internal Audit Directorate (IAD), responsible for advancing the audit function through advanced data analytics and data storytelling techniques to deliver invaluable insights.
The primary objective is to enhance governance, risk management, and internal controls. This position reports directly to the Head of Enterprise Technology Audit on a day-to-day basis, with additional reporting to the Director of Internal Audit as required.
The role involves performing comprehensive data analysis and continuous control monitoring (CCM) to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of audit activities. The role should possess working knowledge of IT Infrastructure, applications, databases, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) along with strong analytical capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the proficiency to work with data while upholding confidentiality and adhering to audit standards.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Management, Data Science, Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field from a university accredited by the relevant authorities in the UAE
• Relevant professional certification in data analysis
• Qualifications such as CIA, CISA preferred.

• Diverse/multicultural business industry (obtained from medium to large organizations)
• Multi-national company, Big Four audit firm preferred.
• Experience with big data technologies and cloud platforms is a plus.
• Experience in the Energy and utility sector will be preferred.
