As our new Interior Design co-worker, you think creatively and are passionate about people’s home lives.
Your knowledge, skills, and experience include:
- Design-based education, minimum 3 years of experience in visual merchandise, interior design, or art within home furniture.
- Experience with project planning and execution.
- Passion, curiosity, and understanding of interior design and furniture for people’s home lives.
- Creative mindset, supported by commercial visual skills and an eye for aesthetics.
- Actively seeking to optimize work processes in a simple, lean, and cost-effective manner.
- You have hands-on experience with your tasks and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
- You are outgoing and proactive in conveying and teaching home interior knowledge to customers and colleagues in an inspiring manner.
- You can collaborate in a creative team of 5 designers with different profiles and a wealth of knowledge and experience, where collaboration is as important as handling your tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Contributing to positioning IKEA as customers’ preferred choice for furniture.
- Managing the entire implementation process, including planning, meetings with relevant partners, and execution.
- Using your experience to ensure an up-to-date interior and other media that surpass our customers’ expectations.
- Stimulating and increasing interest in our products by constantly presenting new and inspiring solutions that motivate people to visit IKEA stores frequently.
- Leveraging the breadth of IKEA’s products to showcase clear and distinctive designs that appeal to the diverse styles and needs of many individuals.
- Reflecting the identity of the IKEA brand by creatively creating visual visibility in all commercial, sales, and employee areas
