Description:

We are seeking two dynamic, passionate, collaborative, and driven individuals for a yearlong placement in our Large Corporate & Institutional (LC&I) Services Organisation, as a part-time student worker (15 hours per week).
The LC&I Services unit sits within our Group COO organisation, and partners Businesses and customers across the entire Danske Bank Group, providing Market leading Services and operational support for Wholesale Banking products.

These placements offer a rare opportunity to rotate across, and gain hands on experience with all units within the LC&I Services Organisation as follows:

  • Markets Services, supporting our Derivatives, Foreign Exchange & Money Market, Liquidity, Collateral Management, Reconciliations, and Reference data businesses
  • Corporate, Institutional & Investment Banking Services: supporting our Investor Services, Custody, Securities Services, Funds, Depository Services businesses.
  • Asset Services, supporting our Group wide securities and issuer services businesses
  • Everyday Banking Corporate Services, supporting our daily banking, and cash management businesses
  • Payments Services, supporting our group wide customers and businesses in our most core product and service offering
  • Financial Markets Infrastructure & Regulation Services, Partnering with Group wide businesses, and Market peers to enhance and drive the industry wide regulatory agenda

You will also have an opportunity to indirectly partner with other areas within the COO area, including the Business Management & Implementation / Transformation teams, and broader technology / intelligent automation functions.

ABOUT YOU:

You have a can-do attitude and a focus on growing and developing as an individual with a follow-through mindset. You do not have to have the answers but an openness to learn, be eager, curious, driven, innovative, and creative. We are looking for the following from you:

  • You are enrolled in a program related to Finance, Banking business administration, project management, economics, or a similar area of focus with 2- 3 years left of your studies
  • You have a clear desire to gain experience in the Banking or Financial Services industry and can demonstrate this through either previous experience, relevant studies, and / or a clear desire to learn and progress
  • Attention to detail and structure to ensure accuracy in all tasks
  • Ability to collaborate with others, and a willingness to help them succeed
  • Ability and desire to work in an often fast-paced environment, with multiple and competing deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • An ability to work individually and collaboratively in a diverse environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the courage to voice your ideas and be creative, as well as to take ownership
  • Excellent English skills, both spoken and written. Fluency in a Nordic language will be a bonus
  • You could have some project management and / or analytical exposure from previous student work experience or other placements
  • Advanced organizational and time management skills (ability to efficiently plan, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain order in work processes)
  • A willingness to challenge yourself, commit, and learn
