Job Description
Reporting to the GM & Home Design Chapter Lead, we’re looking for an exceptional creative talent with a strong collaborative approach to join our team.
This is a rewarding opportunity where you will see your design career really come alive and your wheelhouse of graphic and textile design experience will drive the squad’s mission and deliver goals and quality outcomes!
This team supports a broad range of categories by designing and developing ranges of our products including bedding, soft textiles, housewares, stationery and sleepwear with further opportunity to get involved in wider general merchandise ranges for The Warehouse Group.

A snapshot of the role will see you:

  • Research and apply market & trend information through design analytics.
  • Trend forecasting key items, colours, fabrics, details and products for seasonal launches for the home, sleepwear and general merchandise areas
  • Daily work alongside the buying and sourcing chapter members, and wider design chapter to curate and build cohesive ranges

Qualifications

You will be someone who enjoys a dynamic and varied role with a great eye, passion for trends and graphic design! More importantly you’ll have the ability to translate these ideas into products our will customers love!

  • Proven intermediate to senior level designer experience including taking product from concept through execution and partnering with overseas manufacturers
  • Customer-centric approach with proven ability to research and apply market/trend knowledge
  • Demonstrated creative ability including graphics, textile design, visual merchandising
  • Commercial sense working within a retail environment
  • Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator & Photoshop
  • Experience with license product & protocols would be a bonus
